Over the years, Loki has died many times, both in Marvel Comics and in the MCU, yet he always seems to return. In the comics, Loki made an arrangement with the various incarnations of Death, which led to him having his name removed from the books of Hell.
Near-Immortality: Like all Asgardians, Loki ages at a far slower rate than humans. However, unlike some other God pantheons like the Olympians, who stop ageing completely at a certain point, Loki isn't fully immune to aging.
Here, holding on to all of the timelines, he became a kind of tree god, physically representing the Norse tree of life, Yggdrasil. It was a poignant and painful ending for Loki, who now seems to be sentenced to being alone for eternity as he watches over the timelines.

"Loki Is About 16 Years Old In The MCU In Thor: The Dark World, Odin reminds Loki that Asgardians are not immortal and have lifespans as humans do, to which Loki responds: "Give or take 5,000 years." From this, it can be calculated that Asgardians live to about 5,100, with Loki being around 1050 years old in the MCU."
Loki has always delighted in cheating death, manipulating others into believing he was dead in order to hatch his next scheme. At the end of Thor, he apparently took his own life — but Loki survived death by plunging into one of the many portals he knew could be found in Yggdrasil.
In the main timeline of Earth-616, it appears that Loki is presumed dead and gone for good. In Thor: Love and Thunder, Thor has several tattoos memorializing his brother, which seems to suggest the God of Thunder has made peace with his death.
The only exception to this requirement is Hela, who could lift and destroy Mjolnir due to her sheer power. Based on this history, Loki, after the end of season 2, seems worthy to lift Mjolnir. Throughout his series, Loki learns that what he ultimately desires isn't power but connection.
Thor Odinson himself said he is around 1500 years old at the time of the events of Infinity War (2018), and MCU fandom wiki mentions Loki's year of birth as 965 AD, hence he would be 1055 years old at the time of his death in 2018. So, Thor is around 445 years older than Loki.

Odin would've been about 5,000+ when he met the eternals. The Odin force could've also extended his life. In conclusion, Odin is millennials older than Loki, he might even be the oldest asgardian to ever live because of the Odin force, possibly.
In the end, Loki has to make the ultimate sacrifice, leaving his friends behind to destroy the temporal loom and become the new moderator of time, essentially replacing He Who Remains. This ending evokes so much emotion because Loki is now alone with this power forever.
By saving and organizing every existing timeline, Loki has become the God of Time — a higher being who keeps the past, present, and future of every universe from being erased by outside forces. However, Loki has also become the God of Stories, as he has placed everybody's personal journey above his own.
Loki can't go back to his timeline because he is a variant. The TVA(Time Variance Authority) caught Loki then put a reset charge in the timeline that he belonged to because Loki's escape was not meant to happen in avengers endgame. Reset charges does not reset the entire timeline as it is impossible to do so.
