Meekah is Blippi's best friend and co-host. Meekah is creative, inventive and cartwheel-loving. She has the same passion for curiosity and learning through play as Blippi. She's eager to explore the world with a song or a tune and learn new things by creating, tinkering, and most importantly, having fun!
Meekah from the popular children's show "Blippi" has long been played by Kaitlin Becker and Cashae Monya; there was never an "original" Meekah who has since been replaced; rather, this portrayal has always been intended as a collaborative effort among these talented performers.
A few years later, Blippi published "Blippi Learns about Jungle Animals for Kids | Educational Videos for Toddlers." The video received nearly one billion views and remains Blippi's most popular video.
The show was created and the character originally played by Stevin John, who posted the first episode of the show on YouTube on February 18, 2014, which featured tractors.

Blippi made $17 million in 2021 from YouTube and was part of a $3 BILLION acquisition by Disney. One key reason: He wasn't scared to reuse content that worked.
Much like its predecessor, this is a gentle and comforting show that invites preschoolers to be curious. In Meekah, both the title character and her best friend are adults who act like kids, engaging with the world in an open and amazed manner as only young children do.

Moonbug told Parents, "The role of Blippi originated with Stevin John and has grown to include Clayton Grimm as well as a variety of talented actors who take part in the live show.
John exited the Air Force in 2008, citing personal reasons. In an interview with Daily Mail, he shared, “I enjoyed being in the military but I didn't like the idea of eventually having a family and not being with them for months at a time so I did my term and decided not to reenlist.”
Meekah is Blippi's best friend, who loves to sing and express herself through movement, and as his co-host on the show, accompanies him on his many learning adventures.
Why did Mika leave Blippi? Mika didn't quit, there are two Meekahs. Season 1 is just Mika, Season 2 is both Meekahs. Mika is still playing the character and is still active. He stepped back from Blippi to spend time with his family. He's still involved, but will be behind the scenes.
